ive only had 3 of them so far, the first was a secondhand 110v H/C one, it started to act up after about 3 years so when it was running with no fault i shopped it, bought a new one and had it for about 7 or 8 yrs and altho the coil sprung a leak and i fixed it she didn't give any trouble, new electrodes one time and a reed switch and that was about it tbh.
the new one which is about 4 yrs old hasn't missed a beat yet but i wouldn't expect it to.

thing is with a washer, you never really know where its been before you, anyone buying that size of washer and trading it when it was still fresh id be raising my suspicions that its pumped a small lake through it, a car wash say, where its run for 5 or 6 days a week 8 hours a day.
im not saying yours was one of them, more so you never really know the history.

Hi im buying a nixon pressure washer this week should I get 65 or 80 degrees model and what fuel do they run on ?

I bought the single phase 80degree one just a brilliant bit of kit simple straightforward even I can use it 80 degrees is better for cleaning down livestock buildings as most diseases are killed about 70
Can be run on red diesel or kero was told kero was cleaner but red is in the tractor tank
Be careful when cleaning machinery or you will lift the paint keeping the lance further back works good choice good machine

It's worth getting kero in stock 'cos the extra servicing needed with cherry will far far outweigh any savings.

New heating coils aint cheap ......

And I would always choose a 3 phase model if you have a suitable supply, it makes your washer far less attractive for pilfering ....
