Just whatever you do don't predict the mild winter, I am not sure we are ready to go into the next iceage just yet
Don't give a toss about winter, going to Sri Lanka to watch england lose at cricket

Well , after a middling august ( which coincided with @Badshot 's thread ) the trend continues.
I rest my case
If you call the coolest august since 1993, the 7th wettest in the last 100 years, and one experiencing frosts, 'middling', I'd hate to see what you'd call a bad one!

Ps if England win one ODI in Sri Lanka they'll have done well!
What??????? Have a shitty harvest every year and no moisture thereafter to get the rape going, no thanks I'd rather a dry harvest and then some moisture.Apart from the august blip it's looking pretty forkin good G, shall we settle for this every year ?
, been great here almost perfect . cutting wheat @15% what's not to like .What??????? Have a shitty harvest every year and no moisture thereafter to get the rape going, no thanks I'd rather a dry harvest and then some moisture.
Oh I got most of the wheat @ 15% or thereabouts, but it was dashing inbetween the showers that was getting on my nerves. Horrible harvest weather., been great here almost perfect . cutting wheat @15% what's not to like .

Also had quite a few trailers with water running out the bottom before they got back to store due to the unbelievable ferocity of some of the showers, that's what is not to like. Not so bad then
Try, starting 25th september @27% , done that more than once .

Will be looking at easy sheets for next year, got a couple of really nice sheets for the corn trailers, trouble is by the time you have arsed about in torrential rain trying to put them on you might as well have just gone for the grain store. Full trailer is not too bad to sheet, but a part trailer is nigh on impossible whilst standing under a hose.Buy a sheet

Actually I don't mind you predicting this as it must surely mean we are about to enter the next ice age

You can have the rain back, we've had enough for now. I predict the winter overall will be drier than normal and we will end up in spring drought yet again.Possibly for you southern softies , up here it's almost tropical , should be topping the wheat tomorrow

I'm only in the next county and there's nowt like that round here. OSR looks a bit good, but that's surely a nice problem to have.
