It isn't extortionate. It's commercial running gear and a level of construction far superior to regular trailer makes. It's not compulsory and there are many happy farmers with IW / GE / Hudson / Nugent trailers
Same argument that can be levelled against - say - a CASE vs a Fendt or an L200 vs a Range Rover
I can't afford one but if I was like a mate who collects casualty stock behind an Isuzu all day every day or had show cattle and wanted something coloured / branded or I was a calf dealer and wanted one behind a small lorry, that application and the oversize brakes / heavy duty running gear would make sense.
Clearly a few seem to agree
Good analogy. I would imagine they will sell very well to those same people that like to be seen in a new Range Rover.
