after posting on here , i looked up reviews and as you say better going kingspan style insulation as you say , never know until you ask .Roof ,depends on timber size ,does it need to breathe ?walls solid is normally better ,we use a roof cover called thx gold which is space suit type of stuff along with kingspan / celotex
The more you seal up the draughts and holes the better,a foam gun is your friend, after posting on here , i looked up reviews and as you say better going kingspan style insulation as you say , never know until you ask .

What happened?for a roof be aware you need a minimum 50mm gap between the insulation and the sarking-(the timber that supports the tiles on top of the rafters). had to redo my daughters loft conversion roof after a crap builder put quilting hard up against the sarking.
the quilt insulation had to come out and was relaced with kingspan pushed up leaving a 50mm gap between it and the roofing felt/sarking.What happened?
Just got two cottages to re roof and insulate at same time. Bedrooms have sloped ceilings.
