When you much out these high level sheds with a loader is it safe driving under there ? i was always under the impresion it was a total no no going under the slats ?
But spreading in febuary is a waste, better storing it all until march april ?Contractors spread 2/3 of our 100' x 60' x 8' tank in February with umbilical in 1 day over approx 70 acres.Total cost £890 + 420Litres of diesel.Would have been a week with dungspreader and forklift and the pleasure of driving in below slats with cattle still on top!!!
And i did not say my area i said me, there is a big difference.why is it that fattening doesn't pay in your area?
The weather we had this year was ideal for February spreading. We now have good grass growth to lamb ewes on starting next week with a saving of 1cwt/acre urea we would normally spread now.Plenty storage that we could have stored till now but wanted to get onto lambing fields early so all well washed in before ewes moved on.But spreading in febuary is a waste, better storing it all until march april ?
