How covid19 actually kills in-depth surgeons point of view

If ever anything you have posted has made it plainly clear what a total f^cking idiot you are, this is it.

a few people will die of x, y or z while carrying the virus, but not due to it, yes they would have died anyway. Brilliant, well done. The point that the whole medical world is making is that a huge number who could normally expect years more life will not have a hope of it if they contract this disease. What don't you get, how can you possibly be so utterly stupid as not to be able to grasp this - or is it that you do, but just want to stir-up trouble and concern...?

Check out the accreditations this fellow who 'knows very little' has, I have and they are all bona fide. He is a well respected doctor with an extensive and successful practice, and you are a prat with what, a chemistry GCSE and a weak will? And yet you reckon that you have the better understanding of microbiology, human physiology and epidemiology.

You are a fool, a dangerous rumour monger and a moral coward. Someone on here will know you and eventually be disgusted at what you write and are trying to do on the internet. I wonder how long it will be until they get sufficiently sick of your actions to name and, justly, shame you.

What I find completely disgusting is my assumption that the reason he denies the reality of the virus purely for his own financial worry's:mad:

I know what you mean, but that reads as if you are disgusted with yourself for making such an assumption; in any case I think it a reasonable thing to presume based upon his posts. It is certainly a step up from my own presumption that he is just trying to make trouble. We'll see... (y)

As of 3/4/20 3302 Deaths in England (C19 Supposedly)
52% over 80
39% over 60
7% between 40 -59
90+ % among fogeys. Shut them away rightly but for the young who are most financially affected let them get on with it. I fit into the over 60 category think I have had mild symptoms but will happily take my chance.
Anyone with problems stay isolated. TOTAL over reaction!
How many people die normally a week? Look at the stats, even in Italy not outside the norms just concentrated in one place. Vast majority over 80.

Did you see the piece on Channel 4 news last night from a Welsh hospital (Sorry but I can't remember which just now) where a surgeon said they've a ward full of very sick patients all under 50. The youngest is early 20's. Most have no penniless health problems and one's a personal fitness trainer!

Flu kills between 8000 and 16000 a year anyway. It includes young and old.
C19 seems to be age related from the stats so isolate those at risk and others that don't feel safe will self isolate. Let the under 40's who are most financially affected start back now. Everybody else by choice.

Dad showed me his "You must isolate for 12 weeks because you're high risk" letter today. It set out who qualifies as "very high risk":

- Anyone having cancer treatment (and most who've had it)
- BMI over 40
- Anyone with COPD
- Anyone with severe asthma
- Anyone with significant high blood pressure
- Anyone with diabetes

That's approaching 25% of working age folk these days!

HGV drivers are critical to keeping things running. Plenty have a high BMI.

I think the diabetes bit is more relevant to those who don't have it under control properly.
I had a private medical recently BMI was 25.7 so lost a bit more weight to get it to 25. Metabolic age is 56 so probably means I will die shortly to disprove their theory.

Body Mass Index. A measure of how thin or fat you are. Technically it's your weight (in kg) divided by your height squared (in metres).

Over 25 is "overweight", over 35 is "obese".

Yeees, but... it doesn't - cant - take into account factors such as being of a heavier or lighter build than 'average'. For example, my BMI classes me as overweight but, since I am broader and deeper in the upper body than most, my GP thinks I am bang on where I should be, whereas she - the GP - is quite lightly built and, according to her BMI, should be seeking extra nourishment - whereas in fact we are both healthy.
