How do I obtain an up to date satellite image of my farm?

are you using the google earth program or just google maps? have you checked the timeline button in google earth? the default images it loads is 2018 for me, but clicking that button reveals one from march 2020 for my farm. these are aerial photos though, so it seems to be pot luck if they fly your area.

actual daily satelight photos are available here, but are of no use due to their scale, unless you like looking at cloud patterns.

I was going to suggest a drone too, obviously with some huge fields the 'max height allowed' slider may have to be shifted (temporarily) a bit.

I dont know but I assume there would be some clever software that could knit the pictures together, after all isn't that all Google maps really is just taken from a plane rather than a drone??
