How do i Transfer a cow to my 10 year old son?

Hmm, sounds not worth the hassle letting him have his own cow. To me the enjoyment of farming is dying , you just cannot do anything without something or someone round the corner waiting to penalise you on anything you want to do.

Authority stamping out entrepreneurship again. Maybe this country needs someone to drain the swamp as well.

Be very careful, him owning a cow could disqualify him from being classed as a new entrant to agriculture in the future.

I know someone who has missed out because they owned a few sheep, leading them to missing out on some substantial funding.

The cow could still be his without him actually owning it.

Similar thing happened to me. Started farming in my own right, then when the money for old rope (young farmers) scheme came along I was disqualified because I had been farming too long. Crock of sh!t.
