Really? We grew acres of rhubarb where that tractor wouldn't go. And what the hell was up with his rhubarb with all those yellow leaves? It looked awful, the green stuff was nice though.

Here is one of our fields, hand planting strawberries. It's an old pic but we grew cabbage, strawberries, rhubarb on that field and it isn't the steepest we farmed.
I wouldn't drive a tractor on it but others do, in the pic it has been rotavated by the 35 you can see.
Have you seen the vids on Youtube of potatoes in Jersey? They make this field look flat.

What do you do for erosion? we put straw on the bottom headlands

Therefore making the situation worse?

We use insect netting & it does an excellent job of soil stabilisation at that most vunerable time just after planting.
