How good are Sip rakes

Martin have you sold any single rotor trailed rakes?

I have looked at them but I'm not convinced that they work in all conditions . Time will tell , I know two contractors who have bought them recently. So time will tell.

I haven’t sold any in GB. I think it’s sold more in Southern Europe where they want to/have to use smaller tractors

I know you did but that was in part due to exchange rate calculations being wrong. We also have 2 year no acreage limits warranty too. This is assuming you are who I think you are! If not, then apologies

The vicon/kverneland is a real good rake for following ground and cleanin it. Cant comment on the sip as never seen 1

No , I bought a pottinger and it has turned out to be a great machine, that wheel out front is a great job as the tines never hit a ridge due to the wheel lifting the tines . Nothing wrong with sip but I got a better deal on the pottinger.

Should be ok then .

We've a kv 7.6m one so the model down from that and I wouldn't have another.

It's not got adjustable cam track and we just cannot get a decent row like we could with the class we had before.
The width rams creep out the whole time we're on the second set now but I'm not changing them for all we do now .

Well enough built but I'd probably look at krone for our size now as claas still don't do a hydraulic width in this size
