How heavy is a quadrant bale of hay?

As above, any idea as to the rough weight of a big bale of hay (Claas Quadrants)? I have about 70 bales to sell and normally sell per bale if small loads, just to keep things simple.

Oh, and what's it worth (per ton)? Good'ish hay but not gee gee stuff. Sheep are loving the odd bales I've put out though.

Not yet. Still waiting on a delivery from @Allied Weighing . But yes, I could weigh one on those before sitting the CombiClamp on them. Good thinking.

I never had a bale of straw weigh less than 330kg.
I have had some hay at 700 but I do make mine over 9' long and at that weight it was too wet. Good hay 450

Yes I'm sorry for that .good hay this year his hard to get hold of and I didn't want to send you 2cd best .Judge had a load in Chelford. was told it was grade 1 .made £80 ton

Despite my like of your previous post about hell freezing, I have 700 small bales that I could be persuaded to sell if things get too bad up there. Transport would cost a bit though.

Holland is strange with being so intensive. There is a Dutch guy here sending hay back there!! Must be 600 miles

Just to edit - probably not this year though
