How is Brexit for you?

They didn't refuse equivalence!
Frost didn't want to negotiate it!
Barnier said have the extension and sort it all out and Frost refused. The EU have a standing invitation for you to negotiate financials and you will not do it because the EU have asked what your Tax plans are and you refuse to tell them.
Personally think that this is all deliberate , I've said before Boris got Brexit done for the plebs and he promised his financial mates it would be WTO and Singapore for financials.
"fudge business", remember?
Especially scottish shellfish businesses

sorry, matter of public record, no doubt what so ever about frances most embarrassing figures.
and the £ continued to gain against the dollar and the euro, money mkt's couldn't care less about anything other than their pockets, so those continuing gains, just show the level of confidence, they have in the UK.
When one stops listening to the BBC, you get a completely different set of facts, from all over the globe, including europe, as they all pretty much agree, one has to assume they are correct, many actually quote the men behind the facts.
You are from Scotland, what are your views on Alex Salmonds evidence, hastily redacted by sturgeon cronies, the bit i can't understand is why she is so keen on re-joining the EU, when she has been told there isn't any way she can.
Both spain and belguim have told her, categorically they will veto any application.

I don't know about our figures but France's are definately the worst on record as I read the piece about it. It was possibly the biggest annual fall they meant but not certain.
I would guess we run at a bigger deficit year on year but don't know that it's the worst on record.

Not sure of the dates or the details but I imagine it was from further back than that. Do they have a year end date in April as we do? No links as I don't know where I saw it.

If you click on the links I gave , they give data up to including December 2020 .
You can go through them for data for the last 20 years.
Som. Was quoting 2018 for some reason. Had you left then?

Royal Mail into Europe quicker than before. Customs Labels filled incorrectly and I'm seeing no issues.

This week a Switzerland order sent Monday delivered today.
France is 4 working days. Spain is hit and miss on the timescale. I've just checked a Romanian one... 3 days into Romania from the UK then it sat in Romania for 14 days before delivery.

Hasn't affected me yet sales-wise and it's in GBP

Well I don’t know ... had a bit of a run around trying to get a load of heifers in from EU. Most agents seem to be moribund at the moment as Denmark and Holland aren’t sending cattle out yet
Got some Germans in the end ... and then had our beloved ministry out this morning blood testing them for bluetongue. Turns out only some states in Germany are still under bluetongue

Still they travelled well although one driver got them to Calais and then they were picked up by a Dutch driver based here because of covid in Dover

politicians can prat about, to hide their 'disasters', and the UK is an 'easy' target. But trade is trade, if cant trade, you have no income, so normal people will find ways to continue, they have to. I see german exports to UK have dropped 30% since brexit, that's substantial enough to concentrate minds, of both manufactures and politicians

After being told so many times that Brexit would be a disaster for sheep farmers we took the last of our small grass fed Scotty store lambs to the local market today, average price just over £100 a head ain't Brexit terrible!

Again.... a ‘no deal’ Brexit would have been a disaster for sheep farmers. Boris (thankfully) rolled over and ND was averted, so the nightmare scenario for the sheep sector was averted.

A tariff free Brexit was always going to see the lamb trade continue (albeit with a few extra complications), which is why many of us were afraid of, and warning about, a ‘no deal’ crash out.

I’m amazed that so many on here don’t seem to be able to comprehend that.:banghead:

Ask a pig farmer though.

The reason sheep are up at the moment is probably because NZ haven't recently offloaded a shipment. However, are you confident that the price will hold for new season lamb? Obviously there are relatively few lamb being slaughtered at this time of year in the UK.
