More sheep less time in graze and outView attachment 1016579
Field of wheat after grass/clover. Plenty of clover still feeding the wheat.
It’s plenty flush and also clean.
If I was to bang 150 ewe lambs on it for a couple weeks would I be too late?

Oh but he'll have to spend more on fungicide.....How much would it cost to feed the sheep for a week on some hay? if the field is not grazed you might be able to cut back on fert?
does that mean you can use less fungicide, by grazing, and removing the foliage ?Oh but he'll have to spend more on fungicide.....
Lambs finished grazing wheat last year on the 5th March.
You need to be carefull from now , that flag leaf wont be far away , and it needs some frost protection , maybe another 10 days (with no frost about )
still dont want to damage the spike , some mild weather and will be away (next week) I was always told early april but recon thats much to late in the southFrosts been rare this winter
They didn't get blown away then!?
