How late for linseed

just poking through drilled it with a companion crop of spring oats. only got a small area and never grown it before so dont really know what im doing.

Why would you grow linseed with spring oats?
How will you harvest them?

To help divert flax beatle. I have no experience of any of it to be honest but 20kg/ha of oats from the shed thought it might be worth a try.

Only legal other option I can think of is eagle. Unless you have some leftover maya. Chekkar and mcpa are most definitely not legal but probably wouldn’t kill your linseed. As to whether they kill hemp who knows.

For the record it’s a new farm to me so trying to make the best out of the situation. I don’t think hemp is a go’er. Harvested in November...

Apparently Maya wouldn’t touch it anyway, it can be used for weed control in hemp elsewhere.

An SU herbicide? I have no data to back it up, just it seems the most broad acting.

I drilled my linseed yesterday. 70kg/ha Had to wait on some ends for the dust to clear so I could see the mark.
It better rain today !
