Wtf is that?

if you mean what is clover harvesting, heres a short clip, its simply hoovering up a subterranean seed which had been lifted by harrowing to the sandy surface, the plant grew well in hot dry conditions
when i did it in WA [Ravensthorpe] we used one tractor for each harvester, all old machines without windows, We stayed in Portacabins on the contractors farm, the heat and dust gave you a bit of a thirst. sandflies attracted to sweaty places gave a bit of a nip.. good times though, friday saw us squander a fair bit of our earnings, in Raventhorpes hotel

I never saw any of the green stuff. the black seeds were in a sort of pouch/pod which were hoovered up and separated then collected into a hopper and bagged. we drove very slowly and spent quite a bit of time fine tuning. this was in the early 80's
