How many clear tests are needed after negative tb result?

A while ago I said that I helped out tb testing and there was a
Reactor because there was a lump but the post-mortem result was negative
Yesterday's test was all clear and the farmer thinks he will not need a
Second test in 60 days but the vet said he would
I would say the vet is correct or
is she

No such thing as a negative result, just because there are no lesions it's doesn't mean no TB, it's just been caught reasonably early

we have our 2nd test next week, this is the first time we have been shut down, all taken, no vis lesions, samples they tested all came back negative, so, every thing crossed, but I was told I couldn't go clear, until 2nd clear test.

Two clear tests here in Shropshire and we have restrictions lifted/can sell on the results of the second test, subject to having restrictions officially lifted, which can take a couple of weeks.

I believe in Wales you need 2 clear tests before restrictions are lifted but to sell store/breeding stock you need to pay for a further pre movement test 60 days later.

Two clear tests around here before you can sell anything and then a six month check test before going back to yearly testing. Ministry as i call them seem slow with the annual statements this year telling us we are on yearly testing and have to test between so and so dates.

I have asked via NFU and TB advisory service for a flow chart for various scenarios.
But according to AHPA some decisions are at the mercy of the vet and which side of the bed they got out that morning. NB I made the last part up.

Well I'm in Midlands and it's same as Werzle said for me . Went down Ist time ever in late 2018 (no vis lesions) . Then 2 x 60d tests = Cleared ; then again in Oct at 6 months . Rang Exeter after that and told back to annual in Oct(ish) .
