How many kilo's of bullnuts do you feed to finish beef cattle

On a finishing beef farm I'm wondering what many kilo's of bull nuts are others feeding to beef cattle or what would the said be for the daily average
My cattle are approx 650kgs and currently giving 4 kilo's average across the herd.

Yep my bulls, ad lib, eat about 9 kg/day

Breeding and condition?
4kg would be fair enough for steers on grass at this time of the year if you're looking a quickish finish.
Why bother with bull nuts and not just feed a high maize blend.

At 650 kilos they should be on ad-lib and hung up. You don’t need to be growing frame on them now,

Some of these threads on tff make me cringe, is it bullnuts or more likely bullsht. 650kg currently giving sounds like a milk lactation term too. You wouldnt call a group of feeding cattle a herd either.

Slightly off topic. I have a 3.5yo bull of questionable fertility to get gone as soon as other bulls come off of the cows. He's been running with a few culls for company, and is reasonably fat but by no means as fat as he could be. Is there any advantage in sticking him in a shed for a couple of weeks and feeding him some of the half tonne(ish) of 19% sheep cake I have left, or am I as well just cashing him in this week?

Got a bunch in nearly finished..eating over 30lb a day...big beasts thou some of em

no. We do plenty of bulls over 500 kg
