For most of my life I've been told there's no money in farming and if things don't change quickly there will have to be drastic changes. The B word seems to have lifted concern even higher and there's a thread on here about whether the 'sub' (not sure what its called these days) has been paid into your bank yet.
So what are these drastic changes? How many of you think you will sell up and get a job elsewhere and what would that job be? For the renters/tenants out there who actually thinks they will give up/walk away, buy a house in town and work"9 to 5"?
Or is it just a case of doing things different, staying on the farm but reducing stock, selling or renting out bits of ground, barn conversions, part time job etc?
How do you see your lifestyle changing in the next decade?
