well say this years crop to go by.Too many variables
Wheat yield + variety wouldn't know because buying it behind combine.Errrrrrrr...... wheat yield/ variety etc
Weather during growing season ?
Type of combine used ?
Type of baler ?
Bale length ?
Bale weight ?
Which part of the country ?Wheat yield + variety wouldn't know because buying it behind combine.
John Deere 9670 4 walker combine i think
Jones Baler. (Makes REALLY good bales)
West MidlandsWhich part of the country ?
25kg bales = 40 per T
Good wheat crop = 2.5t/ ac
Not so good = 1t/ ac
Crap = 0.5 - 0.2? t/ac ?
What is your end use as would make a difference in the weight/length of bale you made and on top of that all the other variables to consider e.g quantity to make, clean crop ,ripeness of straw ,type of combine, weather, growing season etc etc oh and forgot if you are selling them is it by weight or /baleHow many small square bales of wheat straw per acre ?
25kg bales ... f**k that offI always used to say 40 bales per tonne ......
Good wheat straw should do 2t/ ac ?
the amount of wet weve had this winter....just to get the straw yield expectation2021 started , there wont be a bumper cropLast years crop was measured in acres per bale rather than bales per ac
though I am more hopeful than I was this time last year when I had very little drilled and what was drilled was still brown from a distance... at least there is some green our there this time!the amount of wet weve had this winter....just to get the straw yield expectation2021 started , there wont be a bumper crop
That was flat 10’s...25kg bales ... fudge that off
Purpose is for selling. What is your end use as would make a difference in the weight/length of bale you made and on top of that all the other variables to consider e.g quantity to make, clean crop ,ripeness of straw ,type of combine, weather, growing season etc etc oh and forgot if you are selling them is it by weight or /bale
