You said anything less than 200 she is toast....did that include 200....twice lol

don't push yer luck:D:D...i said 'less than 200'....i reckon she'll stay cos of brexit.....but normally a leader who can't enjoy support of 2/3 her own team would go

it'll also make the vote on her brexit even harder......117 tories ,10 dup.....300 others....means her bill would loose 430-200

I think it's good of her to stay on, knowing her term is now limited. That's what I call public service. Honouring the result of the referendum in a way that will do least damage possible to the economy.

The fact that whole idea is mistaken is a different matter. Something that can only be rightled by another referendum.

you said 250....nobody's voted '240 plus'.....i voted leave in the ref....but i'd rather 'stay' than endure her deal

I ticked the wrong box. I'd rather stay than endure her deal to be honest. I dont want a hard Brexit either. Massive disruption and hardship.

We only realise what we've lost when we have lost it.

People continually complain about the standard of politicians today.
J R-M is reasoned and consistent in a way I wish they all were.
You shouldn't attack the person because you don't agree with their point of view.

[ I happen to think he is wrong but I respect his considered opinion.]

Quite the reverse, another referendum will only confuse and lengthen the process.

Time for people to step and find solutions, not runaway and hide behind Brussels.
Well what’s your answer then? Parliament can’t decide. They know no deal would be a disaster and they know any deal that the eu gives won’t be any better than the one on the table. So there’s stalemate unless it is put back to the public.

perhaps parliament shouldn't have voted to have the ref then, they should of thought about the fact they couldn't do the job before they made it an option

Parliament should be made to decide.
They had a large majority in favor of implementing the result of a referendum the majority of them voted for.
Deal or no deal.

[Sorry @Lexion1000 , I should have quoted your post]

That's right. Everybody moaning about Theresa May and saying it should be this and that but not a hope in hell of delivering it. The best deal we will get out of the EU is worse then staying in. It's busted. It's over.

And as we voted not to stay in, you must be advocating a 'no deal'......

TM is about the only one with any sense , the rights and wrongs of any deal brought about through negotiation is a direct result of the deadlock within government if it were a Norway deal , a Hard brexit , a Canada plus or whatever, the opposing sides are so dug in and the irish border issue effectively an impossible issue to circumnavigate unless we stay in EU and have no edge of EU border there to cause issue, the opposing sides have to compromise in one way or another or we are going nowhere.

TM has in all honesty put up with more crap from her spineless MP's then she should have had to , since day 1 the leaks , backstabbing and spin have been a joke they are like bloody school kids !!!!! infcat who exactly could lead the Conservatives Boris ??? I had thought 2 years ago he may be ok but he's just full of Wind there is nobody , and in fact at this time with these problem to solve who would step forward to do it?
the last thing we need is a general election

There is huge Sympathy and respect or TM as a person among the public at at large when the public have less respect then ever for the MP's in general then they ever have done

The prime minister should do the honorable thing and resign immediately said the leader of the opposition due to her 'lack' of support in a confidence vote.

Theresa May had 200 votes for, 117 against
Jeremy Corbyn had 40 votes for, 172 against.

I like JRM because he demonstrates a rare quality in politicians today. There are a few other old school MPs who have the same modus operandi and I have nothing but respect for them. I do not automatically dislike MPs due to their upbringing, how the speak, how much money they have or where they went to school, or even which party they are a member of, for we must recognise that what drives MPs and their decision making is the public's view and needs of the constituency they represent. What someone in Somerset demands of their MP is probably quite different to what someone in Bolton wants, for example.

If you listen to him enough, you will discover that his personal beliefs, thoughts or attitudes are deeply held and actually, he is a very principled man. I do not agree with many of his personal beliefs on subjects such as abortion and the like, however, he recognises that his personal beliefs are secondary to the requirements of politics and is happy to support policies even though they might contradict his personally held beliefs on an issue.

Too many people are unable to recognise the importance of the above, putting the collective interest over personal interests.

Theresa May has lied.

Theresa May has out of hand thrown away UK sovereignty and attempted to hide the truth.

I don't know of anyone that thinks good of her. Even before this she had no credibility .. trying to tax the elderly who have already paid taxes all their lives and pay another tax on their deaths to pay for a care system they don't want .. and worse those who have never paid taxes don't pay a penny.

Theresa May continually shows a complete lack of understanding of how the average person thinks, works and plays .. she's not strong and stable .. she's wooden, weak and feeble.

I didn't vote for her and there is no way I'd vote for what she has created.

I think Andrea Leadsom hit the nail on the head when she said she doesn't have children .. Theresa May places no value on providing a legacy to your family .. because she has none.

It's not even on her radar.
