I don't know, but can you buy it on Marketplace for a fraction of the price and get it delivered from the same dealer by 12.00 today?

Sorry Clive, couldn't resist it!! ;)

you could probably buy a lifetime's supply for the same price om Marketplace !

If ever there was a case for a need for Farm Marketplace than a dealers that tries take the pee with a £95 plus vat bill for "loctite" has to demonstrate it rather well !

you didnt buy at that:facepalm:

Had a "minor" breakdown a few weeks back, a cracked casting that had ti be replaced, mechanic called out at 3pm - parts ordered over night and running again by lunch the next day ...............£2796 !!

labour being £1500 of that and the actual cracked part being only about £500 worth !

the £95 'loctite' is just one line of the work of fiction they have sent to try justify the bill

Absiolute pee take ............. I wont be paying it

I can well believe that it is £95... but it altogether depends which variety of Loctite it is, I think they have 1900 different product lines, varying from cheapo nasty thread locker to some pretty clever aerospace technology type of stuff.

so they use an entire bottle then throw it away ? I doubt it and expect that 10 customers previously have all been charged for the same bottle of expensive Loctite ! There is also a funnel and spout on the bill so it seems like customers are expected to pay for their equipment as well ! wonder if the next bill will include the mechanics snap-on tools monthly account payment ? !

Whatever grade the loctite is doesn't work because the only reason the casting was cracked was due to studs on a shaft coming loose !
