You could order a 2 wd with 40 k , know where there is a 40 k 2 wd 399 ,was ordered like that to cart beet into york factory ,so they could get a bit more payload
Not legally, can of worms if you were to drive into something.I know this cos we have a 2wd mccormick that had the software altered to do 40k,top gear had the engine speed de rated from factory.Dealer was reluctant but it did get altered

Massey 375 2wd L reg

16.9 x 30 original good year tyres
Recent new front tyres
2 owners from new
Low profile cab with sunroof
2 spools

how do people value this?

Tia
Look at last months Stags online sale as there was a immaculate Massey Ferguson 362 2wd with around 3400 hours for £14600 and totally original condition and had a very hard fought auction with several very keen bidders.

And Heards RPS have just sold a similar houred 4wd Massey Ferguson 362 for £17200 that had a 100 bids so these tractors are in demand. Very difficult to price privately tho and that’s why these online auctions are doing so well.

they were definitely 40k from factory. Whether it was legal or not is irrelevant as when these were sold in the early 90’s nothing was legal at 40kmh

Weren’t they sold as capable of doing the speed limit at reduced revs? I recall a Steyr we had in late 80s or early 90s that was far faster than anything else around. 2wd too, I think.

My first reaction was £7 to £9000, but agree tractors as tidy as that may well be worth more. With the healthy supply of parts for 100/200/300 series tractors, what is going to kill it, unlike a modern load of sh!t which will go into limp mode and require a £1000 ECU (probably programmed from new by the manufacturer)?

£85/9000
Is its limit - non cow sh!t ,and immaculate 11 ish .
Cab parts are virtually imposible to get now
The small 50 series jd are better value
Missed a 1950 recently , mint and power syncron ,£7000 and can still get every part through vapo or jd

Might take it to cheffins vintage sale next sat. Will need to phone and see what the commission is on a tractor.
To release the full value it needs pre advertising with photos really.
Don’t be put off by the price of the commission’s as you need multiple bidders to achieve the current full value and it’s likely to be way bigger than any private bidders purchase price so it’s gain , gain , gain for you and a little for the auctioneers

in all honesty, i think you would regret selling it, no matter how much you get unless you need the money. Be a nice handy tractor to have about or even do road runs with. few tractors here that dont do much but hey handy to have about think the quad has only had 1 fill of petrol this year and rest has been past on to a 135 and link box

Got a year 2000 230 with 1100 hrs for the little jobs. Could do with a slightly bigger tractor. Would like a nice series 3 7810 ford!
