How much N are you putting on your spring Barley ? Thanks
Total
Units??
Is there another method ,Units??
One never knows with this forum
ApparentlyIs there another method ,
does that include £ s worth and are we talking acres or the otherApparently
No guts no gloryIf i was to follow recommendations and guidance..........a tad over 80units..
PGR .... ha ha loads of itMost spring barley will have had some form of manure though , won’t it.
After all it’s the regen way of doing things, so no excuse if you haven’t mucked or cover cropped it .
here it’s had sheep on turnips and 10 ton pig muck , so won’t be getting much artificial
I'm not going to get over 2.5t/acre so that should mean just shy over 95 units. No guts no glory
So how much artificial......?Most spring barley will have had some form of manure though , won’t it.

With fert £ vs grain £, technically should drop N 14units.
Not sure I dare go so low
I've got spring barley after beet that was mucked again pre so barley it was drilled early Feb and so far has had a cwt AN/AC and I dont think it needs anymore. Most spring barley will have had some form of manure though , won’t it.

Personally I don't think there's anything to be gained by going over 100 units acre(125kgN/ha)How much N are you putting on your spring Barley ? Thanks
