How much per ton for drying

Got to dry some barley in our opico for a neighbour how much should I charge? It’s 17% but most of the grain it dry just a lot of green secondary growth unripe stuff in it making it wet

Probably about £15 a tonne to cover your time, fuel, depreciation, wear & tear etc.

Obviously less if he is going to help with the handling of wet & dry.

He'd be be better heaping it first, with some pedestal fans and letting it find equilibrium.
Your time and diesel will probably need to be more than him taking a sensible deduction at intake, after grain has settled at 15.5%
