What Virgin deals are like?

I've been with Virgin on Sim-only for several years, after they beat EE by quite a margin (both use EE network). When that contract came to an end, EE offered me a good price to move back, as I had my wife's phone with them still. I rang Virgin to cancel and they offered me a daft deal to stay, as well as an even better one to move my wife's phone over too. Both phones together, SIM only, cost me about a tenner a month, for 1500 mins and 5 & 6 Gb of data each. Unused data is also rolled over each month. I was later told that the fella that offered me that contract shouldn't of done so and no longer works for the company. I guess I was lucky to catch a disgruntled employee on his last day?

No issues with signal coverage, any more than EE, and customer service has been great any time I've needed it. I can't recommend them enough tbh.
