How quick can you start using clamp silage?

The cattle will be coming in any day and I have bales and clamps at different ages but for various reasons, would like to use the clamp sheeted down 24 days ago.
Is it too quick?
One of the reasons I want to get on with using it is that it was probably the worst I've ever made and would like to get it out the way. It was overgrown and a bit wet so would it actually benefit from being given longer?

Any thoughts gratefully received.

It's only cows we've fed it same day onwards.
If it's cold it's stable and fully made.

We've chopped into the feedout wagon on Friday, fed it out Monday, was good as gold. Wagon got hot though
