How rough did you feel after your first jab?

Had the AZ jab 2 wks ago shivered all night and flu like for the next day but have felt worse
Someone told me the worse your reaction the better your immune system and the jab will be more affective don't know if this is true though.

I was the same. I wondered what all the Jessies were complaining about, until about 10pm when it hit me. I was good for nothing and had to crawl to bed a shivering wreck. Felt a bit cr*p the next morning, but there was work to be done. Once that had taken my mind off it, it soon went away.

I had covid back early December and was rough for 3 days
Had my first jab AZ about 4 weeks ago and I was rough the day after feeling similar to when I had covid
Strange thing was my wife felt unwell a day after I was I'll
She too had covid in December and had her jab (not AZ) about a month before me
Will try and book my second jab on a Saturday so I got Sunday to rest or recover

Had my 1st Pfizer about 8 weeks ago, 2nd due on 3 weeks at a Vaccination Centre in Ballymena. Felt no side effects at all, very efficient operation at a large leisure centre.
But the Pfizer has little to no side effect hence why the at risk and pensioners all had it I assumed?

That's not how it was being done in NI. At risk people were contacted by their GP's and received the AZ vaccine in a local health centre/ community hall. The general population were told to book a slot online at one of 7 regional vaccination centres when their age slot opened. These centres used the Pfizer vaccine which was easier to handle in a large setting, this has now changed as NI received a large order or AZ and are now at the 40 year olds and up

No side effects whatsoever at the time , but my shoulder is still stiffish , could be the weather .

I got my first jag on the 1st of March, felt terrible for 3 days but had no pain at injection site. About 5 days after jag my arm felt bruised and sore and still does.

I had the Moderna jab last week, apart from a mild nettle sting feeling in my arm where needle went in for a day or so I was fine.

On a side note the folks managing the car parking and running the jabbing centre we’re doing a fantastic job and obviously had everything off to a fine art.
