How rough did you feel after your first jab?

My wife had the AZ jab late Feb, as did 5 other colleagues of hers and they are the daytime On call fire crew for the area. They all had it the same day yet all different ages from 25-55 and they were all in bed for 3-4 days unable to move with aches, pains, fevers etc. As they all said if there had been a fire or responder shout none of them would have gone 😮
My wife had her second jab 2 weeks ago and felt fine 👍🏻
I had my first jab 2 weeks ago and I had a sore neck and arm, next morning very tired and I kept stumbling into things miss judging where tables and chairs etc were, I defiantly wouldn’t have been fit to drive first thing in the morning!! I slept for 4 hours in the afternoon and then I’ve been fine since 👍🏻

We are both 31 though
Thrilled at the thought !
Both of us having the AZ on Wednesday. Flat out busy at home and managing another place as well for a couple of months.

Isn't gout down to being a p1sshead ? only joking .
Do admit , I am not teetotal, and confess occasionally to having drunk more than I should, but last hangover was 40 years ago , thank g*d.

Probably not drinking enough water according to some experts, so it is less coffee and tea more H2O

Is it ever going to be a good time though was my thinking 🤷🏻‍♂️
I didn’t feel mine go in at the mass clinic and it’s only 0.5ml so hardly anything, watched it go in and asked for the needle and syringe to take home to jab sheep with but they declined ☹ Wife didn’t feel it either at the mass clinic but when she had it done the first time at local GP’s they told them to tense their arm and clinch a fist and she said it was total agony with a sore arm for weeks and she isn’t usually fazed by injections although that DR is known for being slightly sadist and I think @JLLM will know the woman I mean 😂

Bizarrely, for us in this bit of France, August would be a good time. Everything done, nothing growing, farmers take their holidays... in August 😳

Had the AZ jab at 7.30pm, all fine. Woke up around 3am shivering with temperature, that wore off after about an hour and some Nurofen, but felt lousy for 36 hrs, like a cross between coming down with flu, and the worlds worst hangover
