I generally scan at 28 days and then jab only those that are in calf. It's not 100% and a quick PD on time is usually cheaper than injecting them all. You can then watch those closely to make sure they come bulling.

Minimum wait of 6 days.

How old r the hiefers?we have a hiefer calved at a year and a half doing well 25 litres, is it worth aborting her and have a small chance she might not get back in calve? Depending on age and size I'd calve her! Younger they r the better they calve I think sometimes

Iv got a cow going into her third laction in may, she calved well under 2 years old, the rest her age are just starting thier second lactation ! but ur right getting served at 6 months is too early

Not sure of exact age without looking but about 6 months, a bunch of 10, 2 of which were holding their tales up as if having being served.
I have the numbers of those 2 and it's quite unlikely that more would have been bulling on one day but still feel it would be safest to jab the lot.
First thing i would do is watch them in 3 weeks, if you see them bulling then nothing to worry about, if not then jab them

True you could go in earlier than 10 days but 6 days may be too early. It may take at least 7 days for a pregnancy CL to form. So 7 days should be the very minimum.
