how to check the hydraulic fluid level on a ford 7610 2wd year 1986

Hi does any one know how to check the hydraulic fluid level on a ford 7610 2wd yews 1986 I had a good look just can’t see it.

On our 1984 7710 the dipstick is on the left hand side when looking at it from the rear

I thought that dipstick was for the gear box and back axle

Top up with 10W 30 oil

Is that not a straight engine oil type
It will have oil brakes so needs ant squalk oil etc etc

I always use 10W 30 oil in the back end of a Ford 6610, and have for a long number of years. Never have any problem with the hydraulics.

10w/30 spot on as long as it is a transmission oil.
10w/30 engine oil would be a disaster.

Hello 7160 Super q,
