How to correct twin disc pattern cock-up?

Have just been rereading this thread again as we are about to start using Nitram this season and was thinking about settings and the like. I have just checked the online Amazone settings tool and it has given me vane settings for a 24m spreading width using OM 24-36m discs of 21/45. I am pretty sure in our book it's 22/37. Is anyone aware that Amazone have changed their recommended settings?

I seem to be getting different recommended vane settings for these two products. What is the difference?

I was under the impression that what comes out of Billingham and Ince is now the same. I had a batch of mixed origin Nitram in the past and was not amused when SCS pointed this out!

How do I know which one we've got?! I didn't know there were two types of Nitram!
I was on a refresher/user course last month and if I recall Amazone (others maybe too) are trying for better labelling on bags, where they’re made etc. and the initials are the guide. Must admit not looked that hard at our own bags as I have settings already.

I had no idea there were two different products. Having had striping last season with Nitram and a whole lot of weird tray test results I was already not totally confident in it. I will making sure tomorrow I know which we've got because the vane settings are 22/37 or 21/45 depending on which option I choose.

Would tell you what our settings are but can’t remember top of my head and tractor is at dealers having some work done. They’re different to the Amazone suggested settings.

Don’t know about CF but Yara now put it on the outside of bags to save having to look inside for the label on the liner. Can now identify batches of mixed origin immediately, which has been an issue in the past.

KRM spreader here, I had my SCS tray test not long ago and the tester said that they had been seeing slight differences in nitram settings between the 2 factories. IIRC the hardness of the product was different.

Reading this you guys with Amazone spreaders like faffing about. Manage perfectly well here with a KRM Bogballe and the online settings they provide; but then I’m only spreading to 24m.
Double overlap is the way to go which is why I changed to a KRM after two Lely Centreliners. Centre liners were great machines and only reason for change was that their auto rate control wasn’t up to the mark with KRM at the time we changed.

Our book says 21/45 on 24/36 discs but I wont be using Nitram!
