How to dry wet beans?

Ouch. I was working on around £40 to get them from 30% to 15%. Once they are in a batch drier, it's just a bit more time & fuel for the extra %. I did ring Master Driers who hire out machines. They have a couple of electric drive machines coming back from Scotland. They also gave me a few phone numbers of local customers who might be able to help. £50 sounds excessive but this depends on the terms of your agreement. Give me a ring & I'll share the details of the locals who have these driers.
You could buy my mobile drier, its a canadian one, electric and gas

Thanks for the offer I have a Masters and and dried my own. It's just the contract farming stuff that's to get. I wasn't keen on drying that myself but it's looking like I'll have to.

I know its pushing on but be very careful with very wet beans if the the are so wet the wont register then even a master mobile will struggle as the will mush at the bottom of the cone rather than go up the auger .
A big grower had a lot of beans to cut a few years ago, a windy night in November with two. Lexions got them cut but he couldnt get them dried as the were to wet for any drier . The whole lot were hauled to a feedlot for a nonimal sum in the end .
A local merchant who handles a lot of beans has two Farrell trailer dryers for beans but the are hard to get .

Somebody asked about a shivers dryer a while back, ours managed admirably from 20 down to 14,no splits ,put 15 ton in ,heat at 140 f ,5 hours heat and out ,not a split 1 at all ,.I think it worked so well as they are only about 3ft deep in bin so masses of air,I only start circulating once heat has been on for about an hour

My alvan blanch setup could dry anything, but very wet peas or beans would play havoc with the intake elevator.
They would get behind the belt and force it out agsinst the sides so you had to stop
Plan B was a rubber belt potato elevator direct into top of drier
Plan C was bucket them into the top bed of the drier, which was left open for this purpose
Is this a normal problem with belt and bucket elevators.we have a Allan blanch with a chain and bucket elevator and it handles beans no problem. We did have problems with the auger out of the holding bin once it’s quite warn and the beans kept jamming it

We are still thinking about a used shivers dryer to run alongside our avan blanch.bean drying being a plus

If it is a shivers junior I wouldn't be so confident with the sweep auger ,but would say 10 ton in would be fine,I did 30 ton a day with ours and still did a days work without having to baby sit it

Is the a drying floor for woodchip locally?
We have a batch tray drier for our grain but many have been installed for chip. It is 6x6m mesh floor tip direct onto it about 1m deep. 20t batchs. Would think it would dry your beans no problem but would take a while to do 300t
