How to find Farm Buildings to Purchase

Thanks for the heads up regarding land agents. I will look them up ... I was aware of Q Planning Regs and I can see the conflict I really don't want something like a 'barn' but really anything agricuturual would do (grain store, office, etc).

And for those people querying 'why buy' ... I rent at the moment. I want to grow my business substantially and every thing I do has to be negotiated. Its slowing me down and preventing us from expanding the way we want. Ideally we just need an agricutural piece of land we can develop the way we want into a farm and process our product (e.g. mushroom ketchup, pate, etc). We are wasting money 'going slow' to appease the landlord when it could be more cost effective if we could build a big barn with our required specs. We have the cash ...
Alternatively, if you really want to grow quickly, use your cash to grow the business and find a partner to JV with. That way, you won't be limited by landlord issues.
I'm sure @teslacoils will consider it 😉

I may of misinterpreted but if you are looking for a farm yard and a few acres then thats typical of a farm being purchased and then the house, yard and paddock being sold off to recoup some of the money, but the bulk of the land stays with the buyer. Most of those properties are over a million pounds. You might better off continuing to rent but finding somewhere that will work with you as you develop.
