What is your understanding of how AS works? It protects glyphosate by competitive salting rather than the cation complex of more expensive conditioners like X Change. Acidification? How hard is your water @nxy ?

Interesting. If it was meant as a water conditioner then it’s not much good. AS only helps glyphosate though there may be other benefits.

It is pretty much standard practise here with Atlantis too.

From what I remember the theory at the time was that it stopped the product drying out on the leaf so got more into the plant so had a bigger effect under dry conditions. It was found to work with Atlantis and similar products but not with Axial for some reason. The main product used for the Ammonium Sulphate was called Actimum but people are now "allegedly" using the stuff that comes in big bags though not strictly legal.

This is going to test your french but they are claiming 10% greater efficiency.

This was tested quite a few years ago and is now widely accepted as making a difference.

Aside from the competitive salting of glypho I was lead to believe it can enhance plant uptake by breaking down the wax cuticle on leaves and somehow letting the plant absorb more.
