How to stop lorries using a private entrance they think leads to an industrial estate!

I know but what. The two private houses aren't happy but don't come forward with inspiration, my Tenats get cross but don't bother to document or let me know when it happens.

It's more the trashing of the fences, tarmac road (£16k) and grass paddock which frustrates me.

I like the post code idea, long term plan, will see what they think on that one.

Just change the post code without telling them. If you ask them they won’t like it as it’s ‘change’. Just do it as it’ll work in the long run.

Signs don't work - no one has time to stop and read them, it's mad. I have blokes pull in the yard asking for company X at unit two, I point at the large number two on the side of a building and shake my head at them.

Postcode is the only sensible fix I think, gates will be problematic and barriers will have a knock on with bin men I think. If I lived on site it would be easier.

Thanks for all your bout, as ever

Don’t dismiss an electric gate/barrier too quick. They really do make a huge difference from the day they go in. Wouldn’t be without ours at the farm entrance now.

That's enough reason for an electric gate.
