Since my cows are inside this year I have made a lot of silage my pits will be full after 3rd cut I'm now looking to sell my 4th cut how can this be valued fairly for both party's in the field?
What way did you do that? I have a weigh bridge so maybe this is the best option?Interesting question per bale I've sold grass this way or per load.
Sold it at £5 per bale once I think if it's chopped you could pull in a load or two to check the wieghtWhat way did you do that? I have a weigh bridge so maybe this is the best option?

No just the grass and mowing was a few years backDid that include baling AND wrapping ?
You wouldn't sell that equation to me not all weeks are equal((Nominal rental value / 52) x 6) + input costs = cost/ac + whatever %margin you like.
Take the sum and divide it by predicted yield and you have an approximate cost per ton/bale.
