Howard direct drill

I noticed that one of my local dealers was advertising a Howard direct drill.

I was thinking that's a new one I wonder if its discs or tines so go on the website to see it.

At least that one has the seed placed after the rotavator

It looks like the predecessor to the rau rotosem. They were fashionable in the 1990’s!

Far too much soil disturbance for smothering volunteers and weed seed germination.
they are relatly slow working ...
and they leave an unlevel field, and can destroy soil structure .
