Should only really be for spring/summer use, cuts down on dust wafting around. Then if it is sticky just scrape your boots on the steps before you get in, quite simple really, keeps the original floor tidy as well.

I’ve never worried about all this stuff but do mirror protectors actually do anything to protect Massey 6400 mirrors they seem to break too easy
Can't see why not else they wouldn't bother making them, you should hit the guard rather than the mirror head which is ultimately what you want to avoid happening.

That’s why we are all different, bit like I cannot understand people ever wearing wellies but some do.
yours must be far different work than the variety that we do here, current job is hedge laying on a bank to prevent solar panel shading. but the trip to and fro is a semi wade through 13inches of ditch water , my wellies are 16 inches .
any other type of boots would mean wet feet all day and i dont fancy trench foot.

just one small example of why wellies are used here in winter at least, most of our stock work is better with them on as well keeps the sh.it water out.

riding around in a tractor all day is a bit different.

as for acessories for tractors well we dont waste money on them at all,as its too hard to come by ime.

Boots all the time or waders for any in ditch work, don’t own a pair of wellies. Excavator and tree shear lays hedges here.
