Looking at buying a hose crimper have looked at gates which is good quality but a big investment for crimper plus hose and fittings are expensive did speak to apex fluid power at a local show they had a Finn power crimper at a good price plus hose and fittings were much cheaper just wondering what brand other people are using thanks

Spaldings do a nice one that can be used in field. Pricey though.

Yep,same here,never had one blow off either if done properly.The crimp ones maybe look a bit neater but the cost is too high.

Banner fluid power bedfordshire make crimpers. The vapormatic crimpers are banners.

I have 2 old ones a manual portable one goes up to 1/2 and a bigger fixed one in workshop both old and obsolete but still do the job.
Getting a bit tired now though especially the manual one.
Dont do enough to justify a new one really.
