Hi I've got this hydraulic ram shown in photos below and the seal at the front of the ram where the piston comes out is leaking oil so I was wondering how do you take it apart to replace the seal
There seems to be a spring on the outer sealFrom pics I'd say use a long thin punch and tap out the dirt seal from below, then winkle out the old oil seals from their grooves.

I couldn't tell you what it was originally on its just on a log splitter your idea of a weather hill loader is most likely itYes wiper seal has a spring to hold it tighter on the chrome rod.
What's the ram off? Looks like one off a weatherhill loader.
