Hydraulic weed puller

Anyone had sight of a weed puller machine?
Hydraulically driven with gangs of tyres used to rip out weeds like charlock etc.
I’ve made some enquires and they exist but are proving difficult to get hold of.
Able to make one in the workshop but would appreciate any information on hydraulic motor spec as it could be an expense trial if I’m not careful!
Thanks.

I’ve used a Combcut to take out larger stemmed weeds in a crop but not sure how practical a puller would be to get it wide enough. Otherwise it’s a lot of wheelings

The one I’m keen on uses a pair of 18 inch wheels which multiplied up to 6 gangs of wheel pairs would work on my 6 row, 36 inch spaced crops. I think there’s 4 hydraulic motors across that width of machine. I think the German manufacturer ‘klunder’ do one similar. 18 foot in one pass on row crops will help the job along when the other weed hoes have been beaten!

Armer salmon used to make a beet harvester, which pulled the crop out of the ground using a belt system which gripped the leaves along with a share which undercut the roots. It may be something to look into in your research.

sounds similar to a stalk puller, used to pull cotton stalks out of the ground after picking, back in the day. Dont see them anymore after everyone changed to root cutters instead ( and stopped burning the stalks )

There are a few harvesting rigs using the armer salmon system but I’m hoping that the simplicity of the stalk puller system will suit my production shortcomings.
My main grey area at the moment is hydraulic motor spec.
In the perfect world someone would tip me off with a photo showing a serial number. Prototype trials will get me where I need but obviously slowly.
Thanks
