After a longish session mowing l switched off with the mower in the raised position but it immediately fell to the ground. Started up and the rear arms lifted and held while the engine was running but lowered as soon as engine stopped.
I will be grateful for any pointers as to what I should be looking at. The tractor is an old JD 1140 with 5000 hours.
