hypochlorite in well water?

We've been having intermittent bactoscan issues and are pretty sure the well water we're using to wash the parlour isn't clean enough despite having a UV filter on it. The place we had the water tested recomended putting hypochlorite into the water through a dosatron but very helpfully didn't have any idea how much to use. Has anyone tried this? What dose did you use? Thanks in advance.

You shock load to start then scale back but Hypo will extract manganese from the water and can cause blockages.
Dosatron has a ppm dial on it but I'm away from home and can't remember how much its set at.

Dosage Depends on your water I think?

we’ve just put it in have 3 filter vessels first is empty just for it to mix before going through filters

We were told to dilute the hypo before it goes into the system to so we put 20l in 200l drum

We have a well about 9' deep, had a chap here doing a borehole a few weeks ago. He told us to put a pint of hypo into a 3 gallon bucket and pour into the well. He reckoned we needed to do it every other day for about 2 weeks to properly clean out the system.
Haven't done it yet and I'm not sure how scientific his advice was
