I’m still standing

Just been to see a field of W Barley which I was worried that it might succumb to having a lie down but glad to see it’s still stood up ,,,,,, for the moment

So who hasn’t been so lucky today after some pretty heavy rain

As long as-its not on the ground

To be honest I give it a 20 % chance of standing with the forecast we have for the next few days

I'm just heading of out the door for a little trip east to see my partner , it will be interesting to see how their barley has faired , some useful looking barley around Stamford , some shite rape tho. ;-)

Mine is about 90cm tall and a decent looking crop but the grain is only just starting to fill so it's not too top heavy yet. We didn't get much rain so I hope mine will be ok. Plenty of pgr. Plenty of fresh potash.
