Does anyone use any impact rated wobble joints? I’m looking for some to use with a big makita gun but not sure if they work or just shear[emoji31]
Snap on black impact wobble sockets, only 3/8 drive but been here 10+years and had their fair share and no trouble to date. Be aware that the impact wobbles are quite bulky for their size.

nice set that, socket and wobble joint combined.
the 17 & 18 look to be a normal enough size going by the sockets behind them but from the 15 down they do look bulky alright, the 10 looks as big as the rest of them.

that tray for holding the sockets, is it metal?, must get one sometime soon but iirc last time i looked on the bay most i seen were plastic and altho look good i didnt think they would last, maybe that one there is plastic?

Gas is for heat mainly and larger steel work and a big rent free bottle of oxygen is 60 refill and 150 deposit so not to hard to justify so
i have a rosebud head here for my torch, its a great job for heating up items and will do it a lot quicker than a cutting head flame, no doubt it eats more gas but i wouldn't be without it all the same.
not too dear to buy and id be surprised if you got one and weren't impressed.

Its the original plastic tray that they came in. The socket part is furthest away in the picture the bit nearest is the drive end.

ah, my bad, i was looking at them the other way round, a grand size at the hex end but as you say the 3/8 side is a bit bulky.

the rack of sockets in the top of the pic, where the sockets are standing up, is it a metal rack or plastic.
