Purchased a small car trolley jack few years ago from them ideal to carry in car better than original type i thought but first time used the plunger broke away from handle had not been welded on right so it went back for refund, made in china of course, same with air gun only ever used odd times but packed up, only good thing was a small air compressor with attachments again only used at odd times still good and drill bit sets, so think if you are lucky and only use items now and again worth a punt...

bought the big borer and lathe I saw in the summer and was getting prices for moving them north :nailbiting:...
then saw someone post that the company they worked for was scrapping the two grinders and other bits and bobs. (Bottom 3 pics) so I had to save them... but then I ended up with too much for one load and not enough for two...

so bought the top one.

stupid Facebook machining group :-(

was looking at that ,, would like to hear what you think of it when you get using it please (y)
Gave it wirl today,,very impressed,,so much nicer to use than a big petrol saw ,,its heavy on batteries but that was expected , been cutting 60mm blocks with it .
The petrol will do the real heavy work but this thing is much nicer to use for thin cuts and it's not anti social

Doing a few building jobs at home and lost my 26' fatmax tape. held tough for a few weeks but really needed something more than 16' but less than 50'

Swore I wasnt buying another stanley as it's too much for something that I lost so bought a "tala" brand in the co-op.

Came home and couldnt find it. I'm convinced I left it on the counter but they don't remember, they said they'd check the CCTV but I doubt they will.

young lad found the stanley the next day!

Need to cut up some daycent timber, made some sawhorses, put a bit of 3/4 ply between them and some bolts with extra nuts and washers for height adjustment so I could get the saw flush with the sawhorses.

Trying as always to tidy the workshop a bit more, had this old dewalt drill case in the attic, decent quality and not too much internal structure to it. a few minutes with the multi-tool and the roloc grinder and I had a case made for two nail guns.

All credit to the chinaman. self levelling line laser and receiver for €90. The tripod came from a crappy spirit level with a laser in the end of it from the attic also.

Green laser with great visibility, the testing I've done would suggest it's actually pretty level too.

nah, im the kind who likes his plunder, which is a bad disease tbh as ive the place full of it.

im just wondering if id ever use it really, fix up an odd pallet, nail a roof up, that's about all i can think of tbh.
but, i bought a impact screw driver that i didn't think id use much and you'd have to prize it out of my hands at this stage.

That big one isnt big at all, it's a 16gauge finish nailer. I didnt buy it, got given it from someone clearing a shed who'd never used it.

it's a fierce handy tool if you were making something tasty from plywood, storage boxes or the like.

I have a cheap framing nailer from when I built the shed, but never used it since. the impact driver and a box of screws is infinitely faster to setup!

A few years ago I bought a Silver line air nailer https://www.toolstation.com/silverline-air-framing-nailer/p23494 it's not exactly refined, but it fairly whacks the nails in & pretty much every nail has gone fully home - even 90mm ones into tough timber.
