I admit, I have a workshop tool addiction :-)

A few years ago I bought a Silver line air nailer https://www.toolstation.com/silverline-air-framing-nailer/p23494 it's not exactly refined, but it fairly whacks the nails in & pretty much every nail has gone fully home - even 90mm ones into tough timber.
im no silverline fan tbh, not that i have any of it, i know their stuff got dearer and one could only hope the quality went the same way..
its an option for the money, if i wore it out id have reason to splash out, doubt that id happen tho.

bought a milwaukee m18 vacuum cleaner last week, and a stihl kombi engine the other day, maybe best curtail the spending for a bit.

I used to be a bit of a tool snob, but I've come to the point of being realistic & buying according to expected level of use etc. I think that Silverline have really upped their game over the years, although some of the cheaper lines are still a bit Pound land & I think that's what puts folk off!

I bought the Silverline nail gun because at the time I only had a couple of smallish projects that I couldn't justify buying something like a Paslode for. Once I got it I found other jobs for it to do & it keeps going - it probably wouldn't survive long in daily use, but for occasional projects it's fine.

I bought a super cheap 1" set of sockets.... couldn't have been more than £50 but the sockets match (in height) an equally cheap Laser torque multiplier. The sockets only go from 24mm to 41mm which is excellent for wheel nuts, forager blades etc.
Like above it doesn't get used much in anger but just works.

Best most value for money hydraulic press I can buy for workshop . Just bending tine arms and stuff like that. Nothing major? Ideas?
I have a 50t Nielsen floor mounted press which is ideal for straightening bent 2” muck fork tines. It needs to be a minimum of 25t pressure to bend the though. Most things move with 10 to 20t pressure so if I bought again I would go for a 30 t one. You never normally wish you had bought smaller;)
