I've been looking for a good set for several years, making do with a cheap Screwfix m3 to m12 set. This set was under £140, covers metric coarse and fine plus UNF & UNC and goes up to M24!Very handy set that!
That's just for scaleDid the TFF mug come with it?...

And some happy horsesGosh, must be some strange goings on down your way
ive been collecting, aka buying, taps and dies for the last 20 years, i dont think ill get the lot before i die tbh but for the more standard sizes like what holwell got they can be picked up on the bay for handy money times if your not in a panic, skf, dormer, golliath, presto and so on, good quality taps.Always wanted that set. I've tried googling in the past to see if its available as another brand, but no luck.
Good deal at £140.
They had it on special about 2 yrs ago at I think £160 and for some reason I missed it. Couldn't get anywhere near that price the last time I tried.
trafimet do circle cutting kits, have3 one here, its a good enough bit of kit, not much out there in them.Blowing through 20mm without a starter hole.
Anyone know a decent set for cutting straight and circles?
Having said in TAW (#58173) we should have a "self help group" for those of us with a serious workshop tool coveting habit I thought I'd start this thread.
My workshop may only be 15 feet square but it doesn't mean I don't hanker after:
A much bigger press
A box and pan brake
A rolling press
A bigger plasma cutter
More 3/4" drive sockets
1" drive sockets
An induction heater
Etc, etc.
There, I've admitted what @Mrs Holwell had said for years, I'm a tool addict.
Does anyone else share my secret? What tools are on your wish list?

for straight lines i have a drag tip on my torch, i just use a bit of straight bar 30x3 or such.
the roller head on the kit will follow a straight line either.
there is different kits for different torches iirc so have a google.
