i am thinking of buying 14 foot flatbed trailer

As said before, God help you if you have an issue with a Nugent, dealership and Sean Nugent, about the most arrogant people in business about, had to issue proceedings to claim back my money,
Also be aware when loading, as cross members over wheel arch, are useless,
thanks for message... you must have had big problem to issue proceedings

Slightly off topic.
Someone told me one of the Irish manufacturers have sold the 3.5t cattle trailer bit off and only building tractor drawn. Thought he said nugent but not certain?

I have a Hudson and ifor Williams 16ft trailers. I always thought Hudson was better untill the chassis split top to bottom on one side. Now I wouldn't be so sure. I tried a newer 18ft tilt ifor Williams but not as strong as the old model.

On collection of new Nugent Tralier, after paying previous day by Bacs, refused to accept Trailer due to bad Galvanising, Curved Chassis rail, and side rail,
Dealer got all arrogant, plus insulting me.
So refused Trailer,
Spoke to Sean Nugent, who also refused to refund, or accept complaint,
Used NFU legal cover to claim back,
They conceded just before going to court,
Now run a Woodford Trailer,

thanks for that... I will remove Nugent from list

Front end looks a bit lightweight, but guess case of what you’re used to.

good plan would be to buy the available ifor, then order your trailer of choice, the used ifor will probably sell for more than new at a sale. they are like good whisky, they mature with age;);)

yes I phoned Graham Edwards and I was given contact details of the nearest dealer as it is dealer supply only and I was told by arfon Roberts he had trailers but were sold and it would be at least 10 weeks waiting time before any more arrived... but I can have a Nugent or Brian James immediately, I will try Bateson , there is a local firm Gamic but it will be even longer waiting time... I will enquire about the trailer on facebook…. it is odd why there is such a long waiting time with a number of makers in the country

I'm surprised Graham Edwards told you it's dealer supply only. I'm local to Edwards anyway and either go down to their works or have a word when in their shop at livestock market at York. They serviced livestock trailer other week and seemed flat out building trailers. Have one of their 14' flatbeds and although getting on, it is a good trailer.

I buy direct every 18 month but I think they prefer customers to go through dealer
