Anyone rate the ih 300 ploughs? We have one, it makes a smashing job - can't get points for it now though unfortunately. I think it is made by Kylingstad or something - did they go on to become kverenland?!

From Family Business To The Stock Exchange

In 1983 the family owned company was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. This move provided the company with the necessary resource for further expand, and in 1984 Kverneland ASA acquired Kyllingstad Plogfabrikk in Kleppe, Norway. Two years later in 1986, Underhaugs Fabrikk in Nærbø, Norway, was added to the family. Today's parent company, Kverneland ASA, was finally established in 1989 as a legal entity.

I thought other people must like them besides us! I've found that some parts do match up to kverneland - but not points.

Just come across a International 300 series 3 furrow plough, bought new, never been used, but left outside for 40 years?? Actually very good, but is it now obsolete as far as getting points etc is concerned. Odd looking points, with a thick kind of wire attaching them to a loop in the mouldboard stays.

Think it may be an SKH plough re badged International, they were a knock on point with a spring steel clip about the thickness if an acrobat tine accessed from the rear of body

Sorry @multi power ,didnt think to take any photos, it was getting dark. Plough is on a farm, the batchelor farmer has had to go into a home. Apparently it has never ploughed an acre, just dumped on the field, but the boards and points etc were clear of the ground, and no deep pitting of rust on the boards. You interested? What kind of money should I offer ? Could ask his nephew ?

I have too many ploughs, and no ploughing to do !
We used to have a international 300 at home, it was variable width, made is Sweden I think, definitely one of the Scandinavian countries, by far the best plough I ever used

If I remember correctly the points are reversible and it was possible to weld new tips on so a piece of hard flat bar could solve your problem just remember to cut the old tip off in the same place on each point
